A visit to The Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

My partner and I recently took a trip down to Texas to visit her family. While we were there, we headed to Dallas to check out Perot Museum of Nature and Science, I had yet to see a real dinosaur specimen in real life. So, you know my excitement when I learned that they allow cameras. They had so many wonderful exhibits! My favorite being the Tyrannosaurus Rex next to the Alamosaurus, and I also really liked an exhibit that showed the evolutionary tree of birds featuring Deinonychus and Archaeopteryx.

The gear I used:

Cameras: Nikon D700 and Nikon F5.

Lens: Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.8D.

Film: Ilford HP5+ 400 pushed to 800.

Here are the results:

Tylosaurus (not a dinosaur, it’s what’s called a Mosasaur- giant sea reptiles).
